I love them with all of my heart and am so grateful for these amazing women. Join me and my BFFs - Erica, Meridith, Heather, and Allison for a fun conversation on the power of lasting friendship.  We met in elementary school and fell in love with each other over the years - sharing special moments of laughter (and tears!) at the turn of all the seasons of life - from sleepovers, first kisses, study halls, and sneaking out to weddings and babies, career moves, and fighting those pesky midlife wrinkles!  We have supported each other through it all. 

In this episode, we dig up old memories, envision our futures, and chat about our recent high school reunion. You will hear a little snippet from our time capsule video from 1997 where we share our hopes and dreams - “what will life be like in 25 years”!!  Tune in to see if our high school predictions came true! 05:29 - Erica now:  Looking back at my predictions for what I hoped I’d achieve 25 years ago – I did just that. I’m a mom to the most incredible little girl with a family and a career that has given me flexibility to spend time with my daughter and the opportunity to challenge myself. In my spare time, I run marathons, love to plan parties and most importantly spend time with my dearest of girlfriends that mean the world to me. My prediction for the next 25 years is to have a grandchild and a beach house that I share with the girls that know me better than anyone ever will drinking wine, laughing and watching the sunrise and sunset writing the next chapter.  

06:22 - Meridith now: Career: I earned my MBA  about 13 years ago, with a concentration in Supply Chain Management.    A concentration no one had heard of until the last year or so....I live the supply chain challenges daily.   Keeps my work interesting and challenging. Family:  I am married, and we are parents to an opinionated spoiled pug Molly.   I spend my free time horseback riding.

06:54 - Heather now: I am a married mom of two boys. My chosen career is education and currently, I am an assistant principal at an elementary school. It is my hope that people in my life see me as kind, reflective, supportive and hard-working.  Life can get messy and hard yet I am still working to make that journey a joyful one. Among my blessing are my family, health, home, and friends including my childhood inner circle of lifelong friends.  I love horses, competitive games in any form, and reading on the beach.

07:34 - Allison now:  I’m a busy, tired woman building my second career as an Interior Designer, while balancing the joys of Motherhood and House Wife to two young boys and a wonderful husband.  Those joys include the chauffeuring to practices, facing loads upon loads of laundry, baking the occasional homemade dinner and throwing impromptu parties.  Though busy, and tired, I’m loving life and grateful for what it’s become.
