We are kicking off the month of May with the celebration of Mental Health Awareness Month and our passion to empower you to be well - body, mind, heart, soul, and spirit!!  My mission for this podcast is to spread awareness, tools, and strategies to help the goal of prioritizing mental health and normalizing the practice of attending to our mental health as health.  I offer you an invitation to make a small change TODAY! 20:25 - How we spend the first 30 minutes of our day can help set the tone for the rest of our day.  If, like me you are a mom and/or a woman, we tend to put ourselves at the bottom of our “to do list” and by the time we get there, we have little (if any!) time and energy to spend nurturing ourselves.  I love meditating first thing in the morning to help me ease into my day with a sense of peace and balance.  Some other ideas: journaling, singing, moving your body, praying, reading, or saying positive affirmations aloud. Most importantly: choose an activity that is nurturing for you - body, mind, heart, soul, and/or spirit!
