17:00 - Call into your mind a person with whom you are in relationship to help you understand and characterize your relationship with your body.  Imagine your body as your partner. Check in with your reactions - thoughts, emotions, sensations, beliefs, ideas - be curious and open.

19:00 - How do you speak to your body? How do you show up for your body? Do you treat your body well? What do you expect from your body? 

Five actions that you can do TODAY to increase your confidence and love for your body:

  1. Feeding,
  2. Moving,
  3. Resting,
  4. Exciting, and
  5. Maintaining our Bodies well. 

We Invite you to align your actions and evaluate them as good/bad, positive/negative by determining if they are in line with YOUR Values, Mission, and Vision.

 

Feed your body good.

Ideas: food and other things as well - consider what you consume on social media, shows, movies, music, etc.; vitamins, WATER!!!, moonlight, sunlight, nature, and fresh air, medicine; talk nicely to your body - give your body compliments and expressions of gratitude.

Move your body good.

Ideas: working out, dancing, sex, walking - find something to do that requires exertion of energy, yoga, stretching, travel and vacation. Have fun when you move your body!!

Listen to your body.  It shares messages with you and tells you when it needs to slow down and to rest in the spirit of BALANCE!,

Ideas: Meditate daily, improve sleep hygiene and healthy sleep habits, sit down, take naps!, shavasana in yoga, travel and leisure, get a massage, acupuncture, mani/pedi.

Take Inventory: Are your behaviors in line with YOUR Values, Mission, and Vision?

Excite your body good.

Our bodies want to feel good, they want to feel pleasure.  Find the activities that bring you excitement and fiery passion - get charged up! 

Ideas: play an instrument, sing, dance, have sex, touch your body, hug, love, snuggle, pleasure yourself, go shopping, get dressed up - wear something that makes you feel AMAZING!, put on makeup, get your hair done.

If you don’t know what excites your body, spend time exploring!

Take Inventory: Are your behaviors in line with YOUR Values, Mission, and Vision?

Maintain your body good.

Treat your body well and maintain a regular, consistent schedule of activities that maintain the health and wellness of your body. Set reminders on your device to keep you on track.

Ideas: keep up with your personal hygiene - brush and floss your teeth; get your physicals, mammograms, pap smears, medical check ups.

Take Inventory: Are your behaviors in line with YOUR Values, Mission, and Vision?

You are in a relationship with your body.  Strong relationships are built on reciprocity, trust, and respect. Build a foundation of trust with your body and your body will trust you back. Take care of your body and your body will take care of you. Show up for your body and your body will show up for you.

44:30 - Gratitude for your body. Give gratitude for something that you see. Give gratitude to your body for something you hear and listen to. Taste something you love.  Smell something you love and give your body gratitude. Touch something you love - give yourself a hug! And give thanks to your body - for loving you, for showing up for you, for all that your body does for you.
